Cedar Lodge is a delightful, newly restored, detached, single storey cottage.

The setting of this timber clad lodge is an idyllic location in the small hamlet of Pallington, near Tincleton, just east of Dorchester and only a few miles from the beautiful Jurassic coastline in Dorset.

The Lodge is light and airy with an open plan living and dining area (with all modern conveniences). There are two bedrooms and a bathroom, and the cottage has its own garden and space for at least two cars. All in a beautiful setting with views of the Dorset countryside.

The owners of Cedar Lodge, Tony and Sue, regularly drive carriages around the local countryside and welcome you to meet their special driving horses, plus their trusty Dalmatian who accompanies them on every drive. Cats and chickens also roam about the farm holding. If you would like to book a drive, complete with groom to enjoy this pastime of a bygone era, this can usually be arranged for a minimal charge during your holiday.

You can find Cedar Lodge on the Classic Cottages website.

Tony and Sue also run Highsteppers, providing horses and a carriage for weddings, birthdays, proms, special occasions or drives around picturesque Dorset countryside.
